Marion Bartran Obituary

SENECA FALLS - Marion Bartran, 87, lifelong resident of Seneca Falls, passed away on Thursday (December 30, 2021) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.

Services will be private, held at the convenience of the family.

For those wishing, donations in memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Marion was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y., the daughter of the late Dominick and Mary (Didona) Sinicropi. She attended Mynderse Academy and married Harold Bartran in 1956. Harold passed away in 1988. She was a long-time member at Seneca Falls Country Club and was an avid golfer for over 30 years. In her early years, she was a member and actively enjoyed being involved at St. Patrick's Church in Seneca Falls. To her family, she was known for many things, but especially her love of family, friends and her passion for caring for others. She loved spending time with and getting to know her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well. Anyone who knew Marion, knew that she had a huge heart and treated everyone she met, as a friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, David (Lolly) and Rick Bartran; grandson, Joshua (Mary) Bartran; granddaughter, Emily (Matthew Tibble) Bartran; great-grandchildren, Asher, Silas, and Ezra Bartran; brothers, Joseph (Mary Ellen) and Vito (Joyce) Sinicropi; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

In addition to her husband, Harold, Marion was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Herschak.

I´m so so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. She had a heart and personality that bubbled over. I remember her store with Mrs. Hughes and how she would picked me up on Saturdays mornings to clean her house. She always treated me with love. Prayers to you all and your family.
