Marion Button Obituary
Marion Craig Button, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 29th 2025, in Newark, Delaware.
Born in Scotland, Marion's gentle nature brought warmth and happiness to everyone she met. She spent many years as a homemaker until her children were grown. She then worked at Bit O' Scotland Bakery and the Cheese Chalet, where her cake decorating skills and culinary talents touched countless lives.
Marion was a devoted mother to David Button, Deana Yokimcus (Victor), and Kirsty Dali (Jason); a proud grandmother to Matthew, Melissa, Victor Jr, Tyler and Cierra; and a joyful great-grandmother to Ashlyn, Lauren, Lincoln and Grayson. She cherished every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Her passions included knitting, baking and cooking for all her family. Marion had a gift for making people smile, often with her delightful Scottish accent and funny Scottish sayings.
Private funeral services will be held in accordance with her wishes.
Marion's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. She will be deeply missed, and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
