Marion Cruikshank Obituary

Bloomington - Marion Cruikshank entered eternal life on July 23, 2025. She was born on December 3, 1943, in Faribault, MN to Bernhard and Irene Wegner. A 1961 graduate, Marion went on to earn her beautician's license in Mankato. She married David Cruikshank on June 6, 1964, and they settled in Bloomington, MN in 1966, raising two daughters, Julie and Joanie.

Marion was preceded in death by her sister Ilene Henry, brother-in-law Warren Henry, and brother Eugene Wegner. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David; daughters Julie (Ross) Tanner and Joanie (Tim) Ilstrup; sister Kathleen (Mark) Humphrey; grandsons Nicholas (Allie) Jonas, Brody Ilstrup, Cael and Aiden Tanner; and great-grandsons Wesley and Ryland Jonas.

Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior at Emmaus Free Lutheran Church, 8443 2nd Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55420. Memorials preferred to City Life Center, PO Box 23236, Minneapolis, MN 55424.
