Marion Gibilovitz, 87, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, with her loved ones by her side.
Born on March 2, 1938, in Wilmington, Delaware, Marion built a life rooted in love, where family always came first. Her family was her garden - and she tended it with endless care and devotion. To her, family was not just important - it was everything.
She was the beloved wife of the late David Gibilovitz, and a cherished mother to Ronnie (Marla) Gilbert, Donna (Barry) Komins and Larry Gibilovitz. Marion was a proud and loving grandmother to Lindsey Komins, Samantha Komins, and Ian Gilbert, whose lives were deeply enriched by her unwavering love and presence.
Marion was admired not only for her natural beauty but also for her timeless style and the graceful way she carried herself. Her elegance was matched by a warm heart and quiet strength that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
We will miss her deeply and remember her always. “Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.”
A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Shiva will be observed at the home of Donna and Barry Thursday following services.
Contributions in her memory may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
