Marion Moore Obituary
Marion Leonard Moore, Jr., 56, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, in his home. Mr. Moore was born on February 1, 1970, in Halifax County, NC. He is preceded in death by his brother John Timothy Moore.
Surviving include his parents Mary Mizelle Moore and Marion Leonard Moore, Sr., his sister Sandra Nethery Ogburn, his special cousin Mandy Bailey, and many other extended family members.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday and other times at 115 Blue Water Court, Roanoke Rapids, February 20, 2026 at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service.
