Marion Stone Ridgeway of Halifax passed away January 12, 2024 at the age of 81. She was born in Rockingham County, NC on January 27, 1942 to the late Nathaniel Pettis Stone and the late Rosa Irene Toler Stone. She was married to the late Gene Wesley Ridgeway.
She was a member of Centerville Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was considered a prayer warrior. Marion was a retired teacher from Centerville Christian School. She loved her church family, watching her great grandchildren play, watching birds, and writing encouraging cards and letters.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Centerville Baptist Church with the Pastor Todd McClure officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, two hours prior to the service at the church.
