Mrs. Marion E. Robinson, 87, of LeRoy, died December 3, 2010 in Cadillac Hospital. She was born December 15, 1922 in Winterfield Township to the late Ray and Florence Richardson. She married Donald F. Robinson on January 28, 1940 in Marion. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2005. Mrs. Robinson retired from Pontiac Motors after thirty years of service. Her family was the most important part of her life, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered as a wonderful seamstress, she enjoyed playing bingo and trying her luck at the casino. She also enjoyed living on the lake and doing yard work. She is survived by her two daughters, Pat (Vito) Salviati of LeRoy and Donna Greig of Commerce Township; eight grandchildren, Denise Greig, Richard (Judith) Greig, Rhonda (Jeffrey) Marty, Randy Petrie, Connie (Marty) Brady, Donna Robinson, Julia (Frank) Sims and Sonya (Lee) Coley; twenty great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Nancy Robinson; a brother, Ray Richardson; two sisters, Lucille Prielipp and Bernice Bennett. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Donald F. Robinson, Jr. and a brother, Gale Richardson. A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The Reverend Paulette Zoulek will officiate. Interment will be in Winterfield Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Marion VFW Post #6015.
