Marion Savakinas Obituary
Marion Hudanick Savakinas, 95 of Luzerne passed away on September 20, 2025 at Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Swoyersville on July 11, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Helen Hudanick. Marion was a devoted member of Holy Family Parish, Luzerne.She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother who will be sadly missed by her family and those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her son Thomas, her sisters Helen and Dolores and brothers Michael and Bernard.
Surviving are her sister Barbara Drobnicki; daughter Diane Gallagher; granddaughters, Lauren Gallagher, Stacy Savakinas; grandsons Brian Savakinas, Patrick Gallagher, Phillip Gallagher, Robert Gallagher; great grandsons David Gallagher and Robert Gallagher; great granddaughter Caelan Gallagher; great great grandaughter Laurel Gallagher; great great grandson John Gallagher.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. from Betz-Jastremski Funeral Home, 568 Bennett Street, Luzerne. Services will be conducted by Msgr. David Tressler. Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Lehman. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m.
