Marion Trechak

Marion “Mudge” (nee Lisovsky) Trechak, of Monroe Township, formerly of Wayne and Garfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Born in Garfield, Mrs. Trechak resided there for most of her life before moving to Wayne in 1989 and then Monroe Township in 2015. Before retiring, she and her late husband, Mickey, owned and operated the American Ravioli Co. located on Belmont Avenue in Garfield from 1948 to 1987. Mrs. Trechak was a parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Church in Passaic. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael “Mickey” Trechak in 1985; her siblings, Andrew Lisovsky, Ann Cleenput and Elizabeth Lisovsky. Survivors include: her devoted daughters, Michele “Shelly” Trechak and Linda Spirko; three loving grandchildren, Joseph Spirko and his wife Melissa, Michael Spirko and his wife Jackie and Kristy Smith and her husband Kyle and four dear great-grandchildren, Marlee Spirko, Wyatt Smith, Mae Smith and Violet Spirko. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 10:15 am from the funeral home followed by an 11:00 am Mass at St. Stephen R.C. Church, 223 Third St., Passaic.
