Fue hija de Procoro Cervantes y Juana Laguna, quienes le brindaron amor y valores a lo largo de su vida.
Marisol compartió su vida con su esposo Baldemar Galván, con quien formó una familia llena de amor. Fue una madre dedicada y amorosa para sus hijos Jonathan Cervantes y Ximena Cervantes, quienes siempre fueron el orgullo y la alegría de su vida. También le sobreviven su hermano José Antonio Carrera Cervantes, y sus hermanas María del Rosario Carrera Bautista y María Guadalupe Carrera Cervantes, además de otros familiares, amigos y seres queridos que hoy lamentan profundamente su partida.
Marisol será recordada por su bondad, su fortaleza y el amor que siempre brindó a su familia. Su memoria vivirá para siempre en los corazones de quienes la conocieron y la amaron.
