Marita Ringering Obituary
She was born on Tuesday, December 3, 1940, in Breese, IL, daughter of Robert and Alvina (nee Heldorfer) VonAlst.
On Sunday, February 17, 1980, she married Bernard "Bernie" Ringering at Highland, IL, who passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2006.
Marty has been a lifelong resident in the Highland area. She retired in 2000 from being a self-employed craft shop owner. She also taught tole painting for 19 years and worked with the Highland Animal Shelter for 15 years because of her love of animals. She was a member of Pocahontas United Methodist Church, and she was a founding member of the Junior Women's Club of Highland (now called Highland Women's Club). Marty requests no flowers or plants, but memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Interment will be at Robinson Cemetery in Pocahontas, IL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, Topeka, KS ~ No Flowers please - All Memorials.
