Maritza Ramirez

Maritza Ramirez, a radiant light who illuminated the lives of all who knew her, was born on December 15, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York. She later made her home in Lowell, Massachusetts, where she devoted herself to her beloved profession as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the Tempus Company. Through her compassion, dedication, and caring nature, Maritza touched countless lives.
Maritza passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 17th, 2025. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially playing bingo, and took great pride in her cars-interests that brought her happiness and comfort. Her warm spirit, infectious smile, and generous heart will forever be remembered.
She is survived by her two beloved children, Evelis Mercado and Jonathan Mercado, who were the center of her world, and by her partner Herbert Mercado, devoted mother, Priscilla Gomez. Maritza was preceded in death by her father, Monserrate Ramirez Cabrera.
Maritza Ramirez will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, strength, and the light she brought into the lives of her family, friends, and all those she cared for.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 11am - 12:30pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA. Graveside services will follow at St. Mary-Immaculate Conception, Lawrence.
