Maritza Zambrana, 67, passed away peacefully at Bayonet Point Hospital on August 12th, 2025, in Hudson, Florida. Born on April 14th, 1958, in New York, Maritza lived a life marked by deep love for her family and enduring strength through adversity.
She is survived by her devoted mother Antonia; her beloved husband Emilio; and her precious daughter Mariely, whom she cherished deeply. Despite the challenges posed by illness, Maritza remained steadfast in her care and affection for her daughter, always doing her best to provide love and support.
Maritza was one of twelve siblings. She is lovingly remembered by her six sisters-Esperanza (Tita), Ivonne, Yvette, Yazmin, Brenda, and Sheila-and her four brothers-Efrain, Edwin, Juan, and Wilfred. Her extended family includes numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews who will carry forward her memory with affection. She was predeceased by her father Efrain and sister Evelyn.
Maritza was known for being a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
May her memory bring peace to those who loved her and strength to those who mourn her passing. A Viewing will be held on August 19, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM at Dobies Funeral Home 6616 Congress St., New Port Richey, Florida.
