Marjorie Conti Obituary
MARJORIE ANN CONTI, 86, of Seminole, FL died March 11, 2023. She was born and raised in Savannah, NY to Norris Furman and Dorothy Chase Furman. She attended St. Lawrence University and took a break from her schooling to marry Ellery Brown. Following Ellery's unexpected death, she earned her master's degree in education at Nazareth College in 1978. She was an elementary school teacher at Newark Elementary in New York. In 1978, she married Peter Conti. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Clearwater ending her teaching career. The next phase of her life was dedicated to raising family, working for the family business and volunteering at church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Ellery Brown, husband, Peter Conti, husband, Alan Ray Furman, brother, and Grant Furman, brother, Peter Conti, Jr., stepson. She is survived by Curt Brown (Nancy), son, Greg Brown, son, Todd Brown, son, Joe Conti (Isabelle), stepson, Abigail Brown, granddaughter, Jack Brown, grandson, Joel Brown, grandson, Justin Conti, grandson.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 at 11am at Anderson-McQueen Tyrone Chapel. A catered reception will follow the service.

The Lunay children have a lot of memories of growing up together on West Ave in Newark. Our mother, Carol Lunay Vine, and Marge were close friends. We will miss her.

My sisters and I have great memories of Aunt Marge and Uncle Ellery with Curt, Greg and Todd. She NEVER missed sending me a card on my birthday. God bless her soul. Lots of love to you all. Thinking of you.
