Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 AM Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens in McKenzie, Tennessee. Brother Joel Snyder officiating.
The family will receive well-wishers on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM.
Marjorie was born May 25, 1934 in Carroll County, TN. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Sanders; mother Cora Sanders; husband Noel Alton Moore; husband James Davenport; daughter Melissa Moore; daughter Teresa Moore-Pruitt; beloved siblings Kenneth, Genora, Gladys, Beatrice, Orville, Frances and Bobby Lee.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Cynthia Kovach; step-daughter Kathy (Edward) Borkowski; step-daughter in law Alice Davenport; step-son Miles (Mary) Davenport; granddaughters Julie (Guy) Noe, Brianne (Jerry) Mooney, Jennifer Davenport, Lauren (Aaron Loya) Wroughton; grandsons, Chris (Connie) Murray, John (Deanna) Borkowski, Kelly (Misty) Davenport, Steven Davenport, Tim (Kim Weinstein) Callahan, Jamy Kovach, Casy (Mary-Sydney Ritch) Kovach; great grandchildren Kenneth Noe, Ty Noe, Chris Noe, Miranda Noe, Ashlynn Borkowski, Aleeah Borkowski, John Borkowski, Bethanie Borkowski, Jeremiah Borkowski, Joshua Murray, Payton Davenport, Skylar Davenport, Brayden Johnson, Madee Johnson, Maddox Davenport, Aiden Davenport, Lil Wheeler, Jacob Mooney, Tyler Mooney, Harper Callahan, Jasper Kovach, Keller Kovach, Bode Kovach; many beloved nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Decatur, AL. She won many awards as a quilter, seamstress, crafter and baker and was talented in other ways. She was highly praised by her peers as an award-winning realtor. She was a proud advocate and officer for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). Most importantly, her undeniable strength was apparent every day of her life.
