Marjorie Feaster Obituary

Marjorie Bridges Feaster, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug 30th, 2025 in Dallas, Texas.

Marjorie was born on August 23, 1935 in Temple, Texas to Ernest and Bernice Bridges, and was a proud older sister to Catherine and Eugene. She met her husband, Doyle, when they were in seventh grade, and fell in love after they graduated high school. They enjoyed 67 wonderful years together, traveling the world and road tripping across the United States with their family, most often to Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where they spent countless summers. She was a devoted mother to her children, Scott and Julie, and the quintessential, cookie-baking, loving Grammy to grandchildren Madeleine and Harrison.

Marjorie was a fixture in any community she lived in. She had a booming career as a real estate agent for two decades in the DFW metroplex, and was an avid card player who rarely lost a game of bridge. She was a social butterfly with enough friends to fill a phone book, and she kept up with all of them. She always had the latest, was the first to check in and send a card, remembered what your family and friends were up to, and always knew just what to say. She was the best friend you could ask for, in other words.

Marjorie was herself until the very end; a sharp, funny, kind, glamorous woman, as beautiful as she was intelligent. She was a force of nature and as immutable as gravity. She was so, so loved and will be very dearly missed by so many.

She is survived by her husband, Doyle, children Scott Feaster and Julie Howell (Scott), grandchildren Madeleine and Harrison, brother Eugene (Barbara), and so many wonderful friends.

There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Wade Family Funeral Home for anyone wishing to join in a celebration of a life incredibly well-lived.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Arlington on Marjorie's behalf.

I adored Marjorie. She & I would chat at least once per month. Really enjoyed playing bridge with her. She knew everyone. She was a wonderful friend, wife, parent & grandmother and citizen. My heart breaks for her precious family. She will be missed. She leaves a beautiful legacy of a life well lived.
