Marjorie Foster Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cornejo Funeral Home & Crematory - Wellington on Jan. 21, 2026.
Marjorie Sue Foster of Wellington Kansas was welcomed peacefully into her eternal home by the Lord and Savior on December 24, 2025.
Born October 7, 1957 to Jana Brown and Alva Foster, she had an undeniable willingness to overcome any and all obstacles. A graduate of South High School in Wichita, KS, she was an impeccable student and put her education to great use by broadening the minds of many young people through her preschool and daycare. She was a masterful painter with her primary focus on ceramics that captured the eye and hearts of many. She was determined and always steadfast, whether it was crafting, preschool and daycare, gardening, cooking, her endless volunteer work, and being a loyal servant to Christ. Never was there a project too large or too small for her to take on and complete, often times against all odds. Her love for The Lord was infinite and it reflected in everything she did. Marjorie never had any children of her own but those who didn't know that, wouldn't believe it. Her brothers, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews were ever present in her life. Her pets over the years were numerous and cherished always.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jana Brown; father, Alva Foster; sister, Deborah Bradley Ramsey; grandmother, Marjorie P. Gordon(Cottle); and close aunt, Verla Johnson (Cottle); accompanied by many close relatives, friends and pets. She is survived by her brothers Matthew (Erica) Brown, David (Tess) Brown, and Alan (Karen) Foster; and many nieces, nephews, and friends that became her family.
Marjorie's Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00pm January 31, 2026 at Grace Calvary Fellowship Church, 305 N Jefferson, Wellington, KS, 67152.
