Marjorie Elaine Holloway-Ellis was born on April 27, 1945, to the late Moses and Elizabeth (Feddiman) Martin. She peacefully departed this life, guided by an angel of the Lord, on September 1, 2025.

Marjorie graduated from Vineland High School, Class of 1963/64. She began her career at the then Newcomb Hospital (now Inspira Health) in Vineland, NJ. Over the years, she also worked at Kmart in Vineland and at Kennedy Hospital (now Jefferson Health) in Washington Township, where she retired in 2018 after a dedicated career in service and care.

On August 30, 2008, Marjorie married the love of her life, Willie Clarence Ellis, and they made their home together in Sicklerville, NJ.

Marjorie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in her adult life and remained a faithful and growing servant of the Lord. She was a devoted member of Sicklerville Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Josh Mulariki.

She was best known for her warm heart, loving spirit, and her famous cakes that brought joy to many. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, and sharing laughter with friends and her church family. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting flea markets with her son James, searching for little treasures to decorate her home. She also enjoyed dining out with her son Michael at her favorite spots-Chipotle and Sakura. Crossword puzzles and reading her Bible were her peaceful pleasures.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

• Her beloved husband: Willie C. Ellis of Sicklerville, NJ

• Her four sons:

• James L. Holloway Jr. (Brenda) of Magnolia, NJ

• Michael Holloway Sr. (Yolanda) of Port Norris, NJ

• Willie C. Holloway-Ellis

• Christopher Holloway-Ellis of Sicklerville, NJ

• Two sisters:

• Alice Ellis of Fayetteville, NC

• Patricia A. Davis of Bridgeton, NJ

• One brother: Charles R. Martin (Brenetta) of Milmay, NJ

• Eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren (with one more on the way)

• A host of extended family and dear friends

Marjorie was predeceased by:

Her parents, Moses and Elizabeth Martin;

Two brothers: Walter Martin Sr. and Moses Martin Jr.;

Four sisters: Bertha Martin, Dorothy Martin, Mary C. Jackson, and Ruth Walters;

And her beloved niece: Dorothy Ellis ("her Peanut") of Fayetteville, NC.

Marjorie, affectionately known as Margie, lived a life filled with faith, family, and fellowship. Her presence brought joy, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
