Celebrating the Life of
Marjorie Charlene Hynes
Charlene Hynes of Batesville, Arkansas passed away on November 5, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of the late Charley and Nora-lee (Simmons) Weatherman. She was beautiful, creative, and kind; whose gentle spirit touched everyone she met. A devoted mother, daughter, friend, and dog mom. She was wonderfully talented expressing herself through sewing, art, decorating, and cake design.
She retired from the Senior Citizen Center in Batesville. To those who knew her, she was a source of love, strength, and quiet inspiration. To us, she was everything- a mother, a friend, and the person who taught us what true beauty really means.
Though she is gone from our sight, her love will always remain- woven into who we are, and the lives she touched.
Charlene is survived by her son, Lloyd Scott Hynes (Fiancé, Martha McDoniel); daughter, Kellie Weeks (Terry); grandchildren, Brandie Womack (Chad), Jayden Shirley, and Charles Hynes; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Shirley, Peyton Womack, Brody Luchsinger, Zoiee Luchsinger, Parker Womack, and Carson Womack. She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a Graveside Service on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Egner Cemetery in Salado, AR, beginning at 2 PM. Willis Funeral Service will host a private family visitation. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Chad Womack, Tyler Shirley, Jayden Shirley, Peyton Womack, Charles Hynes, and Parker Womack. Honorary pallbearers are Paul (Bo) Burge and Brody Luchsinger.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Independence County in Charlene's honor.
