Obituary of Marjorie McAdow
Marjorie Janice McAdow January 9, 1937 - August 26, 2023
Marjorie Janice McAdow (Margie), maiden name (Weiss), passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023.
Margie was born in Coventry Township in Barberton Ohio, on January 9, 1937. She was the eldest of two children of Donald O. and Margaret Weiss. Donald C Weiss (Donnie) is her brother. Margie graduated from Evergreen High School in 1955, she was a majorette in high school, she was an excellent student she loved school, her graduating class consisted of 30 students.
On August 4, 1957, she married Wayne Mcadow in Indian Hills Colorado. Margie worked at Mountain Bell and started working at the cord board. She was able to experience many changes in the phone company as technology advanced, She worked at several of the Mountain Bell locations. After divestiture the company changed to US West, currently CenturyLink, Margie finished her career at the Lakewood Training Center, she worked for the telephone company for 30 years. Everyone that worked with her really enjoyed her happy personality and positive attitude. She was a member of Communication Workers Of America (CWA).
Margie and Wayne and Tammie and Bruce participated in 4H events, Gymkhanas, Rodeos, Drag Racing events, fishing, snowmobiling, they all enjoyed the outdoors.
After Wayne and Margie retired they traveled alot, visiting family and friends, going on cruises, going to the rodeos watching Bruce (son) and Ross and Mitch and Ben (grandsons) rope, She loved painting, ceramics, she made baskets, photo albums, afghans, she was always learning new crafts. Margie loved her family and her grandchildren.
Margie enjoyed life, family, friends and neighbors, she was respected by everyone that met her she would put a smile on your face, she will be missed by all.
Margie is survived by Tammie McAdow DeBelly (Daughter) husband Allen DeBelly, Bruce McAdow (son) wife Sandra, Donnie Weiss (Brother), wife Wynelle Weiss

Great Nephew - Clint Weiss

Aunt Marjorie will be greatly missed! We had so many memories living in Indian Hills and horse events! And going over to her house for visits and playing with the cousins! Great times!
