Marjorie Ann Plane, 80, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. Born on June 12, 1945, in Monte Vista, Colorado, Marjorie lived a full and vibrant life rooted in family, faith, and the simple joys that brought her happiness.

Marjorie was the beloved daughter of Fred and Augusta Plane and grew up surrounded by the beauty of Colorado's San Luis Valley. She carried with her a deep appreciation for nature throughout her life especially the changing colors of fall and the serenity of mountain drives. These country rides were among her favorite pastimes, offering moments of reflection and peace.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Marjorie leaves behind a large and loving family who will cherish her memory forever. She is survived by her daughters Tammy Rojo, Eileen "Hope" Krause, Darlene Pacheco, and Carla Pacheco; sons Kevin Leggitt and William Leggitt; grandchildren TJ Pacheco; Ana, Maria, and Lulu Rojo; Finn and Fisher Leggitt; Isaiah Krause; Montana and Austin Pacheco; Justus and Kodiak Benitez; Gloria and Joshua Cantu; as well as numerous great-grandchildren: Alex, Tanayia, Timmy, Tesamae, Nadalie, Jennalie, Emmalie, Kallie, Brailey, Brinley, Lilly Belle, Harmony, Hazel, Dominic, Juliette, Rosealynn, Leighton-and one more blessing soon to arrive.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Augusta Plane; her son Mikey Krause; and her brothers Jack Plane and Bill Plane.

Marjorie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved attending Bingo nights with friends and spending time at ceramics classes where she could express her creativity. Crocheting was another cherished hobby-each stitch a testament to her patience and care. Her lunchtimes with friends and family were treasured moments filled with laughter and connection.

Her faith was an important part of her life. Marjorie enjoyed attending services at Saint Helena Catholic Church where she found spiritual comfort and community.

Those who knew Marjorie will remember her warmth, her love for the mountains in autumn splendor, the joy she found in gathering with loved ones over meals or games of Bingo-and above all else-the deep love she had for her family.

You were greatly loved and will be very missed. May your memory bring comfort to those who knew you.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Heer Mortuary & Crematory, 225 E Platte Ave. in Fort Morgan. A Life Celebration Reception will follow at the Hillcrest community room, 1100 Linda Street in Fort Morgan from 4:30 to 9:00 PM
