The Red Wolf Coalition and everyone who is engaged in the recovery and restoration of the critically endangered red wolf treasure the memory of Marjie. Not only was she a passionate advocate for all creatures, great and small, Marjie was a friend. Through her social media posts and the programs she hosted, Marjie taught countless numbers of people, young and old, about red wolves and about our responsibility to be good stewards of the earth. We miss her, but we are thankful every day that she was part of our lives and part of the effort to restore a native of the East to the landscape. Her memory is a blessing.

We are so sorry to hear this. Marjie was and always will be one of our favorite humans to talk with. Her passion for conservation of red wolves, and all endangered species, her love of the Brevard Zoo and her family. I am so glad I was able to spend some time with her when she came by for a curbside pickup of some our mangos a month or so ago. You will be sorely missed. We are honored to have known you. As a fellow zoo volunteer I remember Marjie always had a smile. She would come to the Africa platform to visit us after her shift. Always happy and positive...I will miss her

Marjie, the impact you made not only on all of us volunteers at the zoo, but also the guests, will live on. My friends who came to visit the zoo always said time with you was what made their visit the most memorable. You will be missed but will always be with us in spirit. XO

Marjie, you never failed to amaze me at all you did and with such good spirit. You'll be missed by so many and I wonder if you ever knew the impact you had in the world.
