It is with profound loss and sadness that the family of Mark Woodrow Andrade announces his passing on September 6, 2025, at age 59 at his residence in Meansville, Georgia. Mark was born on May 4, 1966, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Jose Ruben Andrade and the late Margie Jean Trammell. He is preceded in death by his cherished mother and sister, Michelle Dyane Holcomb.
Mark graduated Riverdale Senior High School class of 1984. After graduation he served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, Mark established a pest control company that he owned and operated for more than thirty years. During that time, he cultivated a reputation of virtue built on the foundation of hard work, ethics, and integrity. If you knew Mark you've likely heard him say, "I live the kind of life most men only dream of." – and he did. He established a life of freedom and independence for himself; autonomy was important to him. Mark was an altruistic man with a kind heart. He had a positive impact on the world around him, and never turned down the opportunity to lend a helping hand. He cultivated a strong close-knit family, lived life on his own terms, and had a special group of guys he often referred to as "the best friends in the world."
Mark was a hard-working man and habitually busy. When he wasn't working you could find him tending to his garden or honeybees, fixing something, or working on his next outlandish project. He was an innovative man, he had the greatest ideas, and most importantly the skill and determination to bring those ideas to life. Mark was the epitome of a devoted father. He was a steady beacon of love, strength, and wisdom for his children, and the repairman of sorrows, troubles, and mistakes. His guiding hand will forever remain on their shoulders.
Mark enjoyed many things. He loved the outdoors. As a young man he was fond of hunting, and in his later years became an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed trips to the Gulf to wrestle redfish. He liked a good dog and a good joke, and always seemed to have one or two of each. He liked Chevrolet trucks, creating his own parodies, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and would tell you he didn't like to eat on an empty stomach. He'd put a hurtin' on a Big Bill from Mama's Kitchen, a fresh can of Skoal, the occasional Jack & Sprite, and any old Hank Williams Jr. album.
Mark is survived by his wife, Cynthia Andrade, children, Krystin Andrade (Byron Buffin), Nicholas Andrade (Storm Manning), Ryan Riley (Dineshia Riley), stepchildren, Troy Green (Lauren Smith), Jerid Fielder, and Jacob Fielder, his self-proclaimed "favorite ex-wife", Julie Andrade, grandchildren Jalen Ballard, Annabella Andrade, Rhea Andrade, Gemma Buffin, Benjamin Fielder, and Hazel Fielder, father, Ruben Andrade, stepfather, Robert Trammell (Beth Trammell), in addition to many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the greatest of friends.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Christ Chapel Pavillion.
