Mark C. Beatty, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on September 23, 1952, in Pittsburgh, PA, Mark was a dedicated database administrator at BNY Mellon, where he cultivated a successful 37 year career marked by integrity and expertise.

Mark is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Sally Beatty; his loving children, Mark D. Beatty (Vanessa) and Elizabeth Beatty (Bruce Marshall); and his cherished grandson, Julian Beatty. He was also a devoted brother to Jeffrey (Gerri), Michael (Ellen), and Ellen (Ralph) Giordano, and he was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Sara Beatty, and brother, Douglas.

Mark's greatest love was his family. He was extremely proud of his children. He also enjoyed golf, playing guitar, listening to music, hiking, bike riding, and vacations at Hilton Head.

He had a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Slippery Rock University and a second bachelor's degree in computer science from Point State Park University.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 3-7 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. George Palumbo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Mark's name to a charity of the donor's choice.

Sally I´m so sorry to hear of Marks passing. We loved Mark he was a wonderful person. Thoughts of him bring a smile to my face, he was quite special. He was a gentle and loyal soul who was there for family and friends. My heart is heavy.
