Mark Bennett Obituary
He retired as a lab tech for the McPherson Hospital.
Mark was united in marriage to Thawalan Laokhom on September 24, 2014. She survives of the home.
He attended Shepherd's Field Family Church in Moundridge. Mark was an avid golfer and had also worked part time for Valley Point Golf Course in Valley Center, where he mentored young golfers.
He is also survived by his niece, Nickole Copeland of Tyrone, OK; nephew, Brian Woods of Tyrone, OK; great nieces and nephews, Gage Runte of Tyrone, OK, Jenna Bohannan of Oklahoma City, OK, Cheyan Woods of Liberal, KS; great-great-nephew, Lucien Runte; and stepson, Rattanaritidet Ritinatkosin of Thailand.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Alice Bennett; and sister, Deborah Copeland.
Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 6 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2025 at Shepherd's Field Family Church, Moundridge. Private burial will take place later at Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Shepherd's Field Family Church in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
