Please accept my heartfelt condolences for Mark's passing. Mark was a unique individual with broad interests who was never lacking in the art of discussion. He had a strong scholastic and technical background that he balanced with the arts and his interest in history. My thoughts go back to one of our early travels where we both arrived at our destination several hours prior to our scheduled meeting. We decided to take the opportunity of extra time by visiting local historical sites in the area dating back to the early 1700´s. In our work, we often were on a site for a few days and when back at our hotel at days end, we would discuss and resolve "World Issues" over a couple glasses of wine, then be back to work the next day. I was fortunate to have worked with Mark over the past 25 years but most of all, blessed to have him as a friend. Mark will be forever in our memories and greatly missed.

So sorry to hear of Mark´s passing. I knew Mark from our days in the Boy Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps and Park High in Racine. I saw him at our Park High `68 breakfast this past year. I´m glad he reintroduced himself to me. He was as gracious as I remembered and was flattered when he complimented my bugle playing. He remembered me better than what I thought I was. I´m sure he will be missed! Peace to all
