Mark Edward Bingham, 58, of Yanceyville, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024.
Mark was born February 13, 1966 in Alamance County to Dwight and Judy Bingham. From an early age, he knew without a doubt that he wanted to work on cars. He graduated from Alamance Community College with a degree in Auto Mechanics and immediately went to work doing what he loved. Friends could bring their cars to his home and he’d have them up and running for them in no time. His love of cars also led to an equal love of Nascar. Every Sunday, Mark could be found cheering on his favorite drivers, Richard Petty and Harry Gant. He also was a long-time member of Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Mark is survived by his father, Dwight Bingham; aunt, Priscilla Brande; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Bingham and grandparents, John McCoy Bingham and Kanova Bingham and Woodrow Brande and Corrie Brande.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 1:45 PM on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church, with the funeral immediately following at 2 PM with Rev. Paul Traywick and Rev. Phillip Brande officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church, 2980 Kerr's Chapel Rd, Elon, NC 27244.
