Mark Joseph Bolebruch, 66, passed away on December 30, 2025. He was born on September 16, 1959, in Johnson City, New York to the late John Joseph Bolebruch and Elizabeth Walter Bolebruch.
He is survived by his son, Peter Bolebruch (Taylor); girlfriend, Rebecca Freson Beylor, sisters, Mary Palmeri (Phil) and Susan Anna Hart; nephews, Philip Palmeri, Collin Palmeri, Christopher Palmeri, Paxton Hart and Sean Bolebruch; his beloved dog, Luna; a host of extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother John Joseph Bolebruch whom also passed away in 2025.
Mark graduated from Millbrook High in Raleigh in 1978. He attended 2 years at East Carolina University (ECU) and later transferred to Suny Cortland in NY where he graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Finance.
Mark was in the banking industry for 40 years and was beloved by employees and customers alike. He was very involved in his community and was an active member of the Cary Jaycees from 1990 to 2000 and later served as a member of the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce. In 2018 he made a major leap from the banking industry and joined the private sector as a credit analysis for RedHat, a corporation he highly respected and admired.
Mark always was an avid outdoors person despite the red hair and freckles. He enjoyed basketball, water skiing, snow skiing, hiking and later in life, he found a true passion in trail biking. From his earliest days into his 30's Mark could be found shooting the hoops and later when injuries dictated, he moved on to hiking and biking. Mark loved riding the trails of the Nuese River, often riding 20 to 30 miles per day.
Mark's true passion has always been people. Throughout his life he cultivated meaningful and lasting relationships in every aspect of his life and phase of his life. Lifelong friends from high school, college, work...he never failed to make a friend wherever he went as he truly cared for people. He loved to share his passions in life music, biking, hiking, politics and even flashlights with any who cared to listen. He was always the one to call when in need he never failed to be there. Mark will be missed as he was adored by all.
