Mark Allen Brooking, 50, passed away on August 2, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Mark was born on August 1, 1975, to Dean Vincent Brooking and Marian Fitzpatrick Cumbarelis.
Mark’s greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones, especially his cherished grandchildren. He had a passion for sports, coaching soccer for many years, and proudly cheering on the Colts, Pacers, and Cubs. Mark also enjoyed unwinding with video games, finding joy in friendly competition.
Mark is survived by his parents Stan and Marian Cumbarelis; sons Devon (Ashley) Brooking, and Alec Brooking; as well as granddaughters Kinsley and Julia Brooking.
Mark is preceded in death by his brothers Michael Brooking, and Matthew VanVelse.
Visitation for Mark will take place Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Flanner Buchanan Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm.
