Mark Arnold Byall, 67, passed away on August 8, 2025 at Loyola University Medical Center.
He was born in Hartford City on June 19, 1958, to Thomas Arnold Byall, "Tom" and Lois Diane (Monroe) Byall, "Diane". His parents preceded him in death.
Mark graduated from Blackford High School in 1976 and Ball State University in 1982.
He was deeply involved in athletics during his high school years, participating in track and field, gymnastics, and baseball. His enthusiasm for sports continued into college, where he became a cheerleader at Ball State University.
Mark married Margie Jane (Lowery) Byall on October 1, 2023, in Mishawaka.
Mark was a devoted father and had fond memories coaching his sons' Little League Baseball teams. He cherished his family and friends and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His time was well spent entertaining family and friends on Little Chapman Lake and Irish Lake over the last fifty years. "The lakes" were his happy place, and his taste in good music could be heard playing from across the water.
He retired from Bayer Healthcare, where he was the Senior Financial Manager in the Diabetes Care Division.
Mark will be sadly missed by his wife, Margie J. "Janie" Byall of Mishawaka; sons, Cameron Douglas and Gabriella Byall of Mishawaka and Gavin Thomas Byall of Mishawaka; step-children, Johnny & Brooke Radtke, Jason and Megan Holland, Richard and Kat Radtke, Crystal and D.J. Montgomery and Adam Hurley; grandchildren, Grace, Giulia, Emma, Sofia, Jocelyn, Alyssa, Amya, Nathaniel, Anthony, Amelia, Ricky, Mia, Cadin and Lylli; several nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by his brother, Douglas F. Byall.
Mark's wishes are to be cremated and there will be a memorial service, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 1pm at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City, IN 47348.
Memorial visitation will be from 11am – 1pm at the funeral home.
A private burial of cremains will follow on the family lot at Asbury Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Asbury Cemetery, 11133 South 900 West-90, Montpelier, IN 47359 or Loyola University Transplant Center-Loyola Medicine, Office of Philanthropy, 2160 S. First Avenue, Maywood, IL 60153
