Mark Cleaves

Mark Cleaves, 60, passed away on March 26, 2023 surrounded by his family and close friends. Mark was born in Nashua, NH to Sandra and Maurice Cleaves. He attended Wilton Schools and always worked in this area.
He was predeceased by his parents Sandra (Calderara) Cleaves, Maurice Cleaves, his sister Nina Soucy, a nephew Mark Soucy, along with his grandparents on both sides, Emilio and Nina Calderara, Walter and Madeline Cleaves, and Uncles Frank and Darold.
Mark is survived by his wife Karen Cleaves, Stepdaughter Jackie Danforth and her daughter, his little sweetie Lilly Danforth who was the apple of his eye. He is also survived by his sisters Andrea (Archie) Philbrick, Marnie (Tim) Breton, Robyn Cleaves, nieces Ellie, Cassie, nephew Ben and their children, close friends Mark and Cassidy and Mark and Nancy Thompson.
His enjoyment in life came in camping in Pittsburg, NH or Jackman, ME and hunting and fishing. These came after his life as a drummer with "One Night Stand" who played with for many years! Alas the drumming years had to stop once the body started to fight back and let him know it was getting tired.
There will be no services but there will be a Celebration of Life where all can share stories of their life with Mark. All are welcome to Oak Park in Greenfield on April 29th from noon to 6 pm. If interested, it will be a potluck. We will have some snacks and all paper products.
