Mark R Dancause

Mark R. Dancause 58, of Park Ave. passed away on March 1, 2023, at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Cosette (Mandeville) Galipeau of Woonsocket, and the late Gerard Dancause. Mark was a truck driver for Consumers Propane for the last nineteen years. He was a coach for the Woonsocket Pony League and the Woonsocket Red Skins for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping and loved going to the casino. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his mother he leaves his children, Andrea Dancause and Hank Lamb of Woonsocket; Michael McCormick and Amelia Sampson of North Smithfield; Kenneth McCormick, and Justine Dancause both of Woonsocket; and Hope Thompson and her husband Philip of North Smithfield; siblings, Chris Dancause and his wife Donna of Woonsocket; Renee Riel and her husband Paul of Blackstone; and Leslie Desaulniers and Kenneth Turner of Woonsocket, step-father Robert Galipeau, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and a grandpuppy Roxy.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, from 4-6PM.
