Regina Anne Dancause passed away at home on July 25th, 2022 after a long battle with cancer.

Regina was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and has been a Gardiner resident for roughly 17 years. She spent some of her time working in a few different factories that made baby toys. Regina loved watching TV shows such as, all the Chicago series (Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.) She also enjoyed watching Spongebob and old cartoons, like Tom and Jerry, with many of her stuffed animals by her side.

Regina is survived by her life partner of 34 years, Gary Rossner, sisters Becky Rintala, and Susan Vallencourt, brothers Douglas Chartrand, Brian and Steven Dancause, children Anthony and Corey Gates, Gary's mother Patricia Rossner, along with her grandson, neices Samantha and Kassandra Rintala-Weith, nephews, friends and extended family.

She is predeceased by her mother Phyllis Dancause (Damaris) and father Victor Dancause Sr., brothers Victor Dancause Jr., Timothy Williams, John Dancause, and James R. Rintala Jr.

There will be a celebration of Regina's life at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted with Staples Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 53 Brunswick Avenue, Gardiner, Maine. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared with the family on the obituary page of the Staples Funeral Home website, www.staplesfuneralhome.com
