Mark, Clark, and I grew up together in Dover Del. We did the things guys did back in the "olden" days. We camped by Silver Lake, we had dirt clod fights, played "war" with BB guns, and played organized football together for 4 seasons. Along with other guys from our neighborhood we played sandlot baseball, football, basketball, and wiffle ball. Unfortunately, as is the case for a lot of people once we graduated from high school we went our separate ways and lost contact. Mark and I had just reconnected on Facebook but never really caught up. My sincerest condolences to his family. I´ll catch up to you guys in heaven and we´ll see if we can get another football game going.

I first met Mark at a Northeast SARE conference in Vermont. I also remember eating crab with Mark and Caragh in Maryland on a recruiting trip to entice Caragh to come back to the University of Maine. The whole night Mark tried to convince me that crab was better than lobster! I also wondered why Caragh was not having a beer! Mark also introduced me to Old Bay spice, I think his words were, "everything is better with a little Old Bay" Our prays and thoughts go out to Caragh and the girls in this difficult time. Mark was a lot of fun to be around.
