To the family of Mark Dees:
I am so sorry for your loss of a true gentlem-man, my colleague at Tosa West. He will be missed by former students and friends, as well as your family.
My thoughts are with you during this very challenging time, but wonderful memories of Mark will remain forever.

Mr. Dees was my chemistry teacher, class of 1978. He was a great teacher and kind man. I fondly remember his "fights" with Mr. Sutton, chemistry vs. biology. Mr. Dees was an influence in my decision to study engineering in college. I worked as an engineer for many years, and then went back to get a post-bac in science education and have been a high school science teacher for the past 15 years. Thanks Mr. Dees for your great work.
