Mark Donisi, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Tampa, FL, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 9, 1957, in Hempstead, NY, Mark's zest for life and enduring optimism left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Mark dedicated 47 years to Lockheed Martin as a QA engineer, where his meticulous work was highly valued. Outside of work, he was an avid collector of antiques and a familiar face at local car shows. He enjoyed going to Lightning games with his wife, Joanie, and playing corn hole on the weekends with friends.
Mark's love for the outdoors was undeniable. He enjoyed fishing in his backyard, the gulf, and "up-state" MN, searching for wildlife at John Chestnut Park, and sitting on the Dunedin causeway for hours each week.
Family was Mark's cornerstone; His trips to visit New York were always a highlight, trying new craft beers with his brother-in-laws in Minnesota, and visiting his kids in Chicago and Washington DC.
Mark is survived by his wife, Joan; his children, Mikayla (Steven) and Chris (Krystal); and his treasured granddaughter, Lucy.
He is also survived by sisters Angela DeRitis and Rosemarie Castorina, and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved dearly.
Mark's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever be remembered.
