Mark Doyle Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 29, 2024.
Mark S. Doyle, 62, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 23, 2024 after a long painful battle with alcohol addiction.
Mark Doyle was born on August 22, 1961 to Charles and Elaine Doyle in Havertown, PA. After Mark graduated from Monsignor Bonner Catholic High School in 1979, he then went on to become a skilled tradesman after receiving his associates degree at Williamson College of the Trades.
Mark was a high quality tradesman that performed well in a wide variety of technical fields. At every position he held, Mark was always recognized for his hard work, reliability, and delivery of high quality workmanship. From painting to carpentry or welding to commercial truck driving, he could do it all. He often used his gifts to help his children transition their houses into homes.
In 1979, Mark met Anne (Pasciolla) Doyle in Wildwood, NJ. Mark and Anne went on to have 4 children prior to their divorce, Davina, Trisha, Stephen and Kelly.
Mark was always the life of a party. He loved country music, fishing, history, and golf. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Mark was notorious for being the king of dad jokes. He could always be found wearing a pair of work boots, jeans and a t-shirt (with paint on it, of course). Throughout and despite his struggles, he always remained kind and loving.
Mark Doyle was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Elaine Doyle. He is survived by children, Davina (DJ) Sharp, Trisha (Jason) Duff, Stephen Doyle and Kelly (John) Doyle and his seven grandchildren, Alexis & Matt, Wyland, Weston & Declan, Lydia & Parker.
The family will hold a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Crossroads, an organization that helped Mark and many others that battle with addiction.

Mark was our neighbor in the first house we bought. Many fond memories of raising our children together. He was always there when you needed him. Our deepest condolences to the Doyle family. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers not only during this difficult time, but often since we´ve been apart.

Mark was a great friend. We went to Williamson together. I saw him in Arizona about 7-8 years ago, we hadn´t seen each other in over twenty years. We planned to meet at a driving range parking lot, then go eat dinner and catch up, Well we never left the lot, we hugged and we sat on the back of his truck and talked about life and told stories for 5-6 hours, finally he had to go cause he had an early morning at work.

He was in a good place that night. I always remember and was struck by one thing he told what me that night " I have four great kids, I love them and they love me that´s all that matters and that´s what makes me happy"

Tookie was one of the hardest working guys I ever met. Rest easy Roosterman !!!
