Mark Drutch Obituary

Mark Joseph Drutch, 68, of Murrysville, passed away on Dec. 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by love. He was born on Feb. 20, 1957. Mark found joy in the simple things in life sports, a cold beer, and time spent with family and friends. He was a steadfast partner to his wife, Valarie Simon Drutch; and a devoted father to his twin daughters, Joan Drutch-Pohlot and Monica Drutch-Pelkofer. Known for his quiet generosity, patience, and forgiveness, Mark lived by the simple reminder he often shared: do your best. He was a proud grandfather to Mia Pohlot, Briella Pohlot, and Colin Pelkofer. Mark is also survived by his sons-in-law, Michael Pohlot and Corey Pelkofer; and his brother, Gary Drutch and wife, Patricia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Drutch. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at WOLFE-VON GEIS FUNERAL HOME INC., 5701 Lincoln Ave., Export. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025, in Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, Murrysville. Interment will be in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Versailles. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Lymphoma Research Foundation at https://lymphoma.org/ campaign=643938.
