Mark Elcik Obituary
Mark worked in the paper industry for the first part of his life at Pejepscot Paper, Boise Cascade Paper and Gardiner Paper Mill. Mark was an integral part of the Bath Iron Works family where he was employed for 36 years, dedicating his career to ship building. His passion for his work was evident in his commitment and dedication, earning him the respect of his peers and community. Mark's industrious nature and perseverance were traits that defined him, both at work and home. He was a man of integrity, who believed in the value of hard work and the satisfaction derived from a job well done.
Mark's passion was fishing and hunting, His best friend Charlie Dutton and Mark would spend a week at a time on Moosehead Lake fishing and competing who would catch the biggest fish.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Elcik, who was his rock and constant companion for 48 years; one son Jason Ladd wife Tori, two daughters Shannan Elcik Collins husband Mike and Marcie Elcik Warren. Five grandchildren Myah Ladd, Emma Collins, Max Collins, Brayden Warren, Lee Warren. One great granddaughter Delaney Marshall. Brother Robert Randall wife Bonnie, sister Cheryl Heath.
He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Cecile Elcik and brother Ronald Randall. Mark's life was a testament to his love for his family and the Lord. He will be remembered not only for his dedication but also for his kindness, his hearty laugh, and his unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
