Mark Anthony Eskridge, age 48, went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2024. Mark was born January 13, 1976 in Mountain City, TN to the late Harvey and Carol Eskridge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Dean Eskridge.
Mark was a hard worker and was an employee at Parkdale Mills. He loved spending time with family, especially his daughter and son. He was extremely talented at building electronics and had recently built a 3-D printer. He also enjoyed drawing, painting and creating artwork. Mark was a veteran of the United States Army.
Those left to cherish his memories include his wife of 21 years, Candace Eskridge; daughter, Katelynn Eskridge; son, Michael “Bubby” Caleb Eskridge; sister, Joy Reece; brother, James Eskridge; mother and father in law, Jim and Cindy Eller of Zionville, NC; special aunt, Debbie Icenhour of Laurel Bloomery; uncle, Ronald Widner of Laurel Bloomery; special brother-in-law, Joe Eller of Fleetwood, NC; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The graveside service and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Damascus, VA. Military honors will be accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard.
