Mark Gradel Obituary
Mark (aka Chewie) was born on October 7, 1988, in Charleston, SC, a son of Tisha C. Ward. He graduated from Bueno Vista High School in California and later started his career as a heavy equipment operator. Mark enjoyed many things in life including traveling, attending car shows, spending time at the river with all of his close friends, volunteered at his local fire department at one time and was a huge fan of the New England Patriots and South Carolina Gamecocks. Mark was the life of the party and could always put a smile on anyone's face. Mark loved his dogs, PorkChop and Taco, with all his heart and they were treated as his children. Mark was a much beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Tisha Cui-Castro Ward (Kenneth R. Ward, Sr.); his siblings: Jeffrey R. Gonyer, Grayson C. Ward; a nephew, Merrick Gonyer; as well as his stepsiblings, beloved maternal grandparents: Ernesto and Celilia Castro, uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Damian P. Gradel in 1989.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
