A graveside service for Mark Wayne Gumfory, 74, of Whitney, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2026 in the Cleburne Memorial Park Cemetery located at 405 Waters St, Cleburne, TX 76031.
Mark Wayne Gumfory, the son of RV “Sarge” and Martha Gumfory, passed away on January 22, 2026, at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a devoted husband and a proud father whose life centered around family. Mark was a natural protector and provider, always putting the needs of those he loved first.
He cherished taking his family—his nephews, nieces, daughter, and wife—to the beach, creating memories filled with laughter and sunshine. Mark and his wife also shared a passion for traveling in their RV, exploring new places and experiencing many wonderful adventures together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, RV “Sarge” and Martha Gumfory.
Mark is survived by his wife of 47 years, Penny, and their daughter, Mariah Gumfory, along with many nieces and nephews who adored him.
