Mark E. "Mitch" Henderson of Quincy and Easton, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the age of 49.
He was the beloved husband of April (Mullaney) Henderson. A devoted father of Wyatt J. Henderson and Ambrose S. Henderson. Helpful son of Marilyn (Lawrence) and the late Donald Henderson and a dedicated brother to Larry Henderson. He will be remembered and missed by his mother-in-law Rosemarie Mullaney and sister-in-law Camille Mullaney, both of Quincy. Brother-in-law James Mullaney, his wife Jessica and his nephew Kevin of Walpole. He also leaves behind his godson Isaiah Williams whom he enthusiastically enjoying cheering on at his sporting events. He will be greatly missed by his aunts Pauline Frati of Winthrop, Joan Lorwald of Norton, Helen "Chic" Henderson of Middleboro, and Linda Pratt of Middleboro. He is also survived by many cousins and a circle of longtime close friends which he made through working at Emerson Swan, and Shaw's.
Mark will be remembered for his generosity, good nature, kind heart and his love of golf and music. He was always ready with a story, had a quick wit and comforting smile. Mark was able to remain composed during difficult times and was an intelligent man. He loved going for long walks along the beach or hiking the Blue Hills. If ever in need of a restaurant recommendation he was the person to ask.
The only thing that Mark enjoyed more than watching the New England Patriots was spending time with his children. His son says that he is awesome and fun. They enjoyed going to arcades, playgrounds and reading books together every night before bed. Mark truly loved spending time with his boys and will be missed immensely.
A memorial service will be held on June 15, 2024 in Easton to celebrate his life. More details to follow at a later date.
