Mark Henry Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lake Erie Cremation and Funeral Services on Mar. 9, 2026.
Mark Anthony Henry, 51, died Saturday, March 7, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones after enduring a long battle with cancer.

Mark was born April 22, 1974, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Berth Lou McDaniel and John William Henry. He lived in and went to Madison, Ohio schools and was a part of the football team. Mark spent many years working for various manufacturing/machining shops. Mark Loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid gunman, enjoying shooting at the gun range with his sons. He loved to spoil his granddaughters by taking them to get candy at the local candy store and taking them to get anything they wanted from the store. His humor and jokes were always there to make anyone laugh, even at the very end of his battle.

He survived by his mother, Bertha (McDaniel) Henry; siblings, Matt Henry and Stacy (Henry) Purvis; and his children, Mark Anthony Henry Jr., Heaven Leigh Henry, Dakota Creed Fox, and Nicklous Morgan Henry. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Aurora Henry, Lilian Henry and Alice Henry; nieces, Charlotte and Ella Purvis; as well as nephew, Wyatt Purvis. He was preceded in death by his father, John Henry and his brother, Johnny Henry.

Mark will be deeply missed by everyone he has touched in his life. He was always a kind and caring person. Private celebration of life to follow.
