Mark Heydorn Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jul. 30 to Jul. 31, 2025.
Mark Wayne Heydorn, 53, passed away suddenly, July 18, 2025. Mark was born December 1, 1971 in Prescott, Arizona, a son of William L Heydorn, Jr., and Mary Linda Crose Heydorn. When he was 4 years old, his family moved to Layton, Utah, and later moved to Clinton. Mark was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had many job experiences, including doing fencing and electrical, and installing stereos. He loved camping, music, and playing the drums. He was a special person who would help anyone who needed it. If he didn't know how to do something, he would read about it and then he could fix it. Mark married Carie April Campbell on October 10, 1997. They lived in North Salt Lake and had two daughters, Kelsie Lynn and Brynley Belle Heydorn, who were his whole world. Mark was preceded in death by his sister Shanon Marie Heydorn. He is survived by his daughters, his parents, his sister, Audra Heydorn Milligan (Jeremy), his brother, Clark Mahaffey, and two nephews. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 16, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Clinton Stake Center, 1288 W 1300 N, from noon–2 p.m., followed by the dedication of his grave at Clinton Cemetery at 3 p.m.

I am so saddened to hear of Mark's passing. He was always so fun to be around, just the other day I was telling my kids about going to one of his birthdays where we watched a movie on a laser disk player. I hope his family and you can find peace. He was always kind to me. I am truly sorry for your loss. Kristine Lybbert Smith

Dear Linda and Bill,
So sorry to know of your son's passing. It was sweet to read of his accomplishments and his many kindnesses to others. May you keep those sweet memories of him forever.
We too, had a child die last year. We think of her often and continue to pray for her, just as all parents do for all of their children. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Tim and Kathy Moultrie

Mark we will all miss you so much. You were very creative and helpful. Lots of fun to be around with your two girls, Kelsie and Brynley. Some wrong choices were made but we know you would help anyone in need. He helped everybody with their cars and stereos. Some electrocal problems also. He had a gift and a heart of gold. Mom and Dad.
