Beloved husband of Faith Hintzen (nee Burghardt) for 28 years. Devoted stepfather of Arthur Surman (Marcy), Stephen Surman (Laurie), Kenneth Surman (Ella), Junius Galanti (Cynthia), Nicholas Galanti, Romeo Galanti (Roxanne), Violetta Williams, Frank Galanti Jr. (Joanne), and the late Anthony Galanti. Loving Pop Pop of 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Loving son of Ruth J. Hintzen (nee Lloret). Dear brother of Dawn Schmitt (Don), Christina Osenenko (Bob), and Scott Hintzen (Elizabeth). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mark was a longtime member of the Twelfth New Jersey Mifflin Guard. He was also a member of the AGSAS and the Historic Village at Allaire.
There will be a viewing from 1pm to 2pm Sunday, November 6, 2022 at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral service 2pm at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday, November 7, 2022 at Chelten Hills Cemetery, 1701 E. Washington Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19138.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark's memory to the Historic Village at Allaire, 4263 Atlantic Avenue, Farmingdale, NJ 07727 or by visiting https://allairevillage.org/donate/
