Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Street, Tuscola, IL with Father Michael Trummer as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Lewis Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, November 24, 2025 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL
Mark was born on August 7, 1959 in Tuscola, the son of Oscar C. and Susan P. Schultz Jacob.
Survivors include his parents of Arcola, sister: Susan (John) Moore of Arcola and brother: Phillip (Lisa) Jacob of Arcola, 5 nieces and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister: Julia Jacob, niece: Sara Marie Oldfield and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
Mark enjoyed working as an auto body specialist. He loved riding motorcycles and hunting in southern Illinois.
