Mark Joseph "Jaeber" Jaeb Age 55, left this life on Tuesday May 26, 2015 surrounded by family. Mark was born on January 26, 1960 the first child of Donald and Betty Jaeb. Mark was a dreamer and deep thinker from his early days at St. Benedict Elementary until the end. He pondered life, the meaning of life and things most of us rarely think about. He is at peace. Mark graduated from East Canton high school in 1978 and attended Akron University studying art and design; He lived many lives, had many friends and enjoyed a good time. Following college Mark took up construction and carpentry, learning the trade as an apprentice and mastering many skills including heavy equipment, concrete, framing, roofing, finish carpentry and cabinetmaking. There was little that he couldn't do when it came to building. He has a large body of work that is a testament to his craftsmanship and attention to detail and that work will endure for years reminding all of us that knew him how good he was at his craft. He will be missed by family and friends. Mark is survived by a son, Tyler Jaeb, and his grandson, Hammer; Hammer's mother, Mariah; his daughter, Elizabeth Hawk, named after Mark's paternal grandmother whom he adored; his parents, Donald and Betty Jaeb; one brother, Michael and Georgia Jaeb, their family, Annie, Ali and Zak; one sister, Michelle and Danny Begue, and their children, Tristan and Amanda; his partner, Angie Bashline, and her four sons, Michael, Zachary, Gabe and Josh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clem and Elizabeth Jaeb, Joseph and Mae Rohrer. A private memorial service is planned. A college account has been set-up for Hammer Jaeb in memory of Mark. Contributions may be made to College Advantage 529 plan and mailed to PO Box 94 Millersburg, Ohio 44654.
