Mark Andrew Johnson

Mark Andrew Johnson 53, of Debary Florida , died Sunday October 31st due to complications from COVID. Born March 5th,1968 in Dubois, Pennsylvania to Ronald E Johnson and Lynda (Claypool) Gibbs. Mark is survived by his wife, Connie (Newsom) Johnson and his two daughters Sara Johnson and Mollie Johnson, his mother Lynda Gibbs, and four siblings, Mike Johnson, Brenda Draskovich (David Draskovich), Brian Townsend, Ronda Shaffer and step mother, Ruth Johnson.

Mark was the kind of guy you could count on for pretty much anything whether you needed something fixed or a wall painted in your house, he would've done it without any problem. Mark loved hunting, fishing, visiting the beach, and taking his two dogs to the park. He liked going on vacations, usually over to Nokomis Beach every year where he would catch snook like no other, or stay up late taking walks on the beach where he would scout for sea turtles laying their eggs.

Overall, nothing mattered more to him than family. He would do anything for his two girls and showed it rather frequently. Anyone who was lucky enough to spend time around Mark definitely got their share of laughs and great memories to hold on to for a lifetime. He will be truly missed.

There will be a Celebration of life planned by the family to be held Friday November 19, 2021 at Women's Club of Sanford 309 S. Oak Ave Sanford, Florida 32771 at 5pm everyone is welcome to attend.
