Mark M. Kiley age 50 of Glen Ellyn, IL, Loving husband of Amy (Quirk). Caring father of Jacqueline, Mac (Sara), Sydney and Cailin. Beloved son of Liz and Mike Kiley. Dearly loved brother of Samantha (Tania) and Jeff (Jill) and fond uncle of many nieces & nephews.
Mark grew up in LaGrange Park and lived in Glen Ellyn for the past ten years.
He was a loyal friend and had high expectations for himself and others. He was a lifelong fan of the Blackhawks and the White Sox and was regularly disappointed by the Chicago Bears. He looked forward to fantasy baseball, playing golf, and going to Las Vegas.
Mark worked for over 17 years at McMaster-Carr in Elmhurst. He took work seriously but loved listening to music - especially Pearl Jam!
He told corny jokes and was most comfortable just being at home.
He lived for nearly eight years with brain cancer and his last eighteen months were completely unfair.
He will be missed forever by all those who love him.
Donations appreciated to American Brain Tumor Association www.abta.org/donate
A memorial gathering for Mark will be held on Thursday, January 25th from 3-8 PM at Leonard Memorial Funeral Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn.
